Mark your calendars now! For the second year the largest environmental film festival in North America is coming to Davis, California. Join Tuleyome and the Sierra Club Yolano Group as they host the Second Annual Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival Tour at the Veteran's Memorial Theatre at 4 p.m. for the kid's matinee and 7 p.m. for the evening program on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Local environmental organizations including Tuleyome, Yolo Audubon Society, Sierra Club, California Native Plant Society, the Burrowing Owl Preservation Society, Environmental Council of Sacramento, Planning and Conservation League, Habitat 2020, Putah Creek Council, and Sacramento Tree Foundation will be gathering to discuss the state of our environment and how we can attain a healthy environment and sustainable lifestyle for the future.
