Here are some ideas to get you started on your letter:

• Talk about your experiences in Lake Tahoe and why Tahoe is important to you;
• What are your concerns about protecting Lake Tahoe? What have you noticed over the past several years or decades, and what are your thoughts about it?
• How do you feel about allowing more development when current environmental goals have not been met?
• Is quiet, non-motorized recreation important to you?
• Do you want to protect your public access rights?
• Explain what you think should be done to protect this unique National Treasure.
• Simply state whether or not you want more piers or buoys.

Even a few simple sentences written by hand or typed will make a difference. If you can take the extra step and attend TRPA’s meetings about the Shorezone Plan, then please do so because your presence and additional public comments you provide will have an impact.
