Mountain Adventure Camp:

For youths ages 13 - 17.

One-week sessions: July 6 - 11 and July 27 - August 1.

Adventure of a lifetime in the spectacular High Sierra -

Hiking: Naturalist guides lead challenging hikes. Experience Sierra geology, forest ecology, and wildflower identification. Learn about the Donner Party and other intrepid emigrants. Swim in pristine mountain lakes.

Flat Water Kayaking: Learn techniques and safety skills needed to navigate Lake Tahoe. Explore rocky coves and enjoy hidden beaches.

Mountain Biking: Learn bike handling skills, tire and bike repair techniques. A variety of trails to satisfy riders of all abilities. Experience spectacular views and exhilarating terrain.

Rock Climbing: Learn and apply the fundamentals of climbing. Experience world class climbing on the cliffs around Donner Summit. Climb with top climbing guides from the region. Learn the safety system and techniques needed to conquer cracks, slabs and steep faces.

Evenings include campfires, astronomy walks, films and new friends.

Fee: $650 includes lodging, food, all guided activities and equipment.
