What: Steve Evans, author of "Top Trails Sacramento - Exploring Valley, Foothills, and Mountains of the Sacramento Region", will present a slideshow of our area's many hiking trails. There are about 235 miles of trails that Steve will cover and which range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. The location of these trails are in designated Wilderness areas and in some areas that are being proposed for Wilderness designation. The hikes are varied from one to ten miles in length and are located from near sea level to as high as 9,000 feet in elevation. Many of these hikes are accessible year-round and are also rich in natural and cultural history.
