Friday August 23 

NOON:  Registration and Raffle Sales begin

Friday afternoon hike 

6 pm.  Dinner in the dining room

7:30 pm.   After dinner program.  Don Baldwin will present inspiring photos of the Sierra Nevada and will entertain us as "John Muir" at the evening's campfire.

9 pm.  Stories around the campfire in the meadow; S'mores and brandy

During Saturday and Sunday there are a number of wonderful hikes, many with themes, organized by Rick Ramos.

PHOTOGRAPHY, GEOLOGY, ARCHAEOLOGY AND MORE!

SWIM IN A HIGH SIERRA LAKE!

A photography instructor will lead a hike and instruct participants on framing a picture in the forest and mountains.

A geologist will lead a hike and talk on the geology of the area.

There will be more hikes on Sunday morning, of shorter duration

 

Saturday August 24

7:30 am.  Prepare sack lunch in the living room.

8:00 am.  Breakfast in the dining room.

9:15  HIKES.  Meet in the north meadow.

3 pm.  Wine and cheese reception at Hutchinson Lodge.  

Steve Holland will play classical guitar and

sing Portugese and Spanish art songs.


          

6 pm.  Special Dinner.

7:30 pm.  Main speaker will be Michael Bosse,  Deputy National Program Director of Sierra Club's Conservation Department

8:30 Auction results -- living room

8:45 pm.  Dance to Lively Blue Grass Music by the

Mountain Fire Band

 

HIKE SIGN-UP -- at Registration and later in the Library

 

Sunday

7:30 am.  Prepare sack lunch in the living room.

8 am.  Breakfast in the dining room.  Raffle prize drawings.

9 am. HIKES

Costs

Entire Event - $ 175
 

Saturday only (all meals and events) - $ 100
 

Entire event rate includes 2 nights lodging and 6 meals (vegetarian option) and all of the weekend events and activities. 

First provided meal will be dinner on Friday night.  Last meal included will be lunch on Sunday. 

If you are not able to make it to the lodge by 6 pm on Friday, you may choose to have dinner on Sunday.  It is important to let the lodge know which dinner you choose at the time of reservation.
