The Photography Section of the Mother Lode Chapter is open to photographers of all skill levels who would like to join us in promoting the goals of the Sierra Club – to explore, enjoy and protect the planet.

We have regular meetings and outings where we make pictures together and get to know each other. Our informal workshops help us to improve our skills and share our knowledge. We also have many opportunities to look at photographs at our meetings.

This web site presents information on the activities and projects we are undertaking this year:

• The Calendar page contains a complete listing of our meetings, photo outings and other events.
• The Past Outings and Projects section reports on our photo excursions and on some of the projects we are working on in cooperation with other local organizations.
