Nevada City Area Fall Color

Saturday, October 24^th, at 8:30 AM at the 11^th and P Streets parking lot in downtown Sacramento

Directions: I-80 east to Hwy 49 in Auburn, Hwy 49 north to the Nevada City area.

Description: (Note: We will scout this area the week leading up to the 24^th so we have a more precise itinerary on the day of the outing). We will photograph the maples and other fall color in and around the Nevada City and Grass valley area. We may also take short walks along the Independence and Empire Mine trails. Arrival time back in Sacramento should be mid-afternoon.

What to Bring:

· Water and a snack. We will plan a lunch stop somewhere in the Nevada City area.

· Money for carpool drivers and lunch.

· Good walking shoes and appropriate dress for seasonal mild temperatures, sunscreen and a hat.
