Humboldt Redwoods at Williams Grove
Camping in the Humboldt Redwoods at Williams Grove campground located on the Highway of the Giants Redwoods for 4th of July weekend. Cost $40 per person plus meal assignment. Call Diane At 916-489-3828 for more info. Call Diane starting June 15th to signup.
July 17-20, Thursday-Sunday
Younger Adults Full Moon Hike (4E) Half Dome
On the evening of July 18 and under a brilliant full moon, we'll depart from Curry Village (4,000') in Yosemite Valley and hike to the summit of Half Dome (8,836') in time to witness a glorious sunrise! 17 total miles. This is a brutally strenuous hike; you must be in supreme physical condition and not have acrophobia. You must make your own accommodation arrangements for three nights (July17,18,19). Options are: camping <http://www.nps.gov/yose/PlanYourVisit/camping.htm>, non-camping <http://www.YosemitePark.com/Accommodations.aspx>, and motels (outside of Yosemite in El Portal and Mariposa). All accommodations inside/outside of Yosemite fill up quickly for the summer, so reserve as soon as possible. If this trip is cancelled for any reason you’ll be solely responsible for any accommodation cancellation fees.
